So what does WORDPRESS or wp means?
WORDPRESS (called in short WP) is an open-source project, which means it is based on Linux operating system platform, and free for everyone who wants to build a website and it is the largest self-hosted blogging tool in the world. This project has been created to enable anyone who wants to build a website, the ability to create one without any web building training, yes it means anyone can build a website using WORDPRESS tool with very simple easy to use the engine.
WORDPRESS was originally made to create a blogging website, but it seems with the enormous amount of themes and designs made for WORDPRESS and the amount of WORDPRESS based websites built on the web, you can create almost any kind of website you have in mind. There are so many different designs, and formats made for WORDPRESS and website developer companies are manually designing themes to suit the client’s demands to fit anything you have in mind.
Because WORDPRESS is a template theme-based platform, you have a basic engine to start your website. After choosing your suitable theme out of the million theme options and the way the website will look, all that remains is to start adding posts, designs, images, links, and information and get your website running. WordPress has also many plugins that enable plenty of options and actions into a website, which overall is very easy to use by any person who wants to build a website without web programming knowledge.
